Touting unconditional support for Anwar shows DAP’s inconsistency by abandoning democratic principles.

DAP ought to be ridiculed for merely playing the role of attendant in this upcoming Kajang by-election, and not asserting its objection against PKR for deliberately creating a by-election in their lust for the Menteri Besar’s post.
DAP withheld informing the electorate that Anwar’s campaign in fact defiles democracy. Despite shouting upholding democracy to the masses during any election campaign, in reality, PKR has abandoned democracy.
If DAP endorses PKR ketua umum Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim becoming Menteri Besar via his engineering to hold this by-election to resolve his party’s internal power struggles, then DAP should just openly declare  it.
Considering that Selangor DAP Chairman Tony Pua has pledged the party’s unconditional support and assistance for Anwar, DAP should not blindly support PKR’s principles.
Pua’s remarks are not assertive enough to portray DAP’s stand which frequently shouts justice and principles, but once again reveal self-contradiction.
If DAP does not want to go against their own words of democracy, then, DAP should be bold enough to stand up and reject this by-election, respect the general election results, and not act subservient to Anwar who clearly has wasted public resources just to pave the path for him to be Menteri Besar.
