I urge the constituents of Kajang to not be fooled by Pakatan’s empty promises, but to take a good look at the chaos which PKR has caused to them in purposely creating this by-election, and to see the bigger picture and reasons behind this by-election.
Ever since Pakatan took over the Selangor state government in the 12th General Election in 2008, there has been a power struggle between PKR deputy president Azmin Ali and Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim to become the Menteri Besar. From then on Selangor has been PKR’s battlefield, which then resulted in the creation of the Kajang by-election, thus causing more chaos than the current water crisis.
Besides that, DAP too is surprisingly quiet on this issue, and had even tried to push the blame away from PKR by saying that the by-election was to save Selangor from chaos, but the fact is that this chaos was created by PKR themselves!
Besides that, the signing of the water deal between the federal government and Selangor by Khalid has revealed the scandal that some PKR leaders had tried to interfere in the deal. Although no one was named, but it has become clear that there are some people who are trying to pressure the Menteri Besar to do what they want.
Thus, it is obvious that PKR is a party of chaos. From the engineering of the Kajang by-election to the attempted influence of the water deal, PKR has clearly taken the voters for granted. Their many excuses to cover up their own errors serve only to insult the intelligence of the Kajang constituents.
PKR constantly refers to Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim as a world class leader, and that the people of Kajang should be thankful to have him be their representative. They also came up with the excuse that the by-election was to help Pakatan perform better. This is illogical, as regardless of whether PKR wins or not, Selangor will still be under Pakatan. Is this lame excuse not an example of PKR making fools of Selangorians?
Pakatan has become arrogant to the point that they think they can manipulate the voters. They believe that the people will always support them regardless of their wrongdoings, thus they believe they can take the people’s support for granted.
PKR has insulted the process of democracy, made fools of the people, and taken their support for granted, and all because they cannot control their own party’s infighting.
